Over-sized Secretary-Bookcase

Dimensions: 80 tall, 50 wide, 14 deep.  As can be seen by the dimensions, this piece is larger than most cabinets of this combination.  And it has several attractive features in addition to its size.  On one side are the book shelves behind an attractive door.  Above this is a curio compartment with a curved glass door and a shelf inside.  The fretwork in front of the patterned glass is original.  On the other side is  a droplid that when opened  exposes an impressive cubbyhole with a drawer.  There is also an independent drawer above the desk compartment.  The mirror above is shapely and original.  And the hardware on the drawers is original and is most impressive.  All restoration work is done by Charles Upchurch.
