Oversized Barrister Bookcase  

Dimensions: 34 wide, 16 deep, 54 tall, each section is 15 by 16 by 34.  This stack bookcase is very unusual  in its quality of construction and distinction of appearance.  In addition to the unique size and the raised panels in the doors,  its quarter sawn wood is striking.  All backs are original and are in almost as new condition.  It is made by Gunn Sectional Bookcase of Grand Rapids.  All restoration work,  inside and out, done by Charles Upchurch.

Macy Combination File  

Dimensions: 15 wide, 20 deep, 52 tall. This office file has several features including two letter-size file drawers, several shelves for storing loose papers behind a lockable door and a removable unit of several drawers for incidental office storage,  This cabinet is made by Macy with all the brass hardware being original.  All sides are panelled and the piece is refinished by Charles Upchurch.

Four Drawer File  

Dimensions: 18 wide, 29 deep, 53 tall.  This is a quality and heavy duty letter size file.  All hardware is original  and complete including the slides on the inside.  The back is also original and is quarter sawn oak along with all other outside wood.  The maker is Yawman and Erbe of Rochester, New York.  Restoration work is by Charles Upchurch.

Globe Combination File  

Dimensions:15 wide, 26 deep, 55 tall.  This file is made by Globe and is composed of several drawers for storing legal papers , a number of card file drawers and two letter size file drawers.  All drawers are metal lined inside with the original red paint.  All hardware is complete and original.  Refinishing is by Charles Upchurch.

Stack File  

Dimensions: 19 wide, 24 deep, 57 tall. This stackable file is probably by Macy  and is composed of two legal size and one letter size drawers.  On the step back top are several smaller drawers of varying sizes.  A unique feature here is that the right top drawer when opened or closed locks  or unlocks the other drawers.  One of the small drawers has new interior wood, however.  All brass hardware is original  and all drawers have locks that are keyed and operational.  The unit is restored inside and out by Charles Upchurch.

Kidney-Shaped Ladies Desk  

Dimensions:48 wide, 30 tall, 27 deep.  This writing desk with two oval bases and a kidney shaped top is especially attractive.  It has ample drawer space on each side of the kneehole and with a middle drawer. There is no new wood and all drawer bottoms are birdseye maple.  The hardware is brass and has been buffed and lacquered.  It sits on the original casters which make movement easy.

Barrister With Secretary

Dimensions: 56 tall, 34 wide, 12 deep.  In addition to being a bookcase, this office piece is also a secretary  with a drop-front lid for accessibility.  The two barrister sections are of different sizes for a more variable use.  The cubbyhole of the secretary  has five original drawers for further distinction.  A most interesting feature is the drawered base with its original hardware and claw feet.  All backs are original and complete and the desk is lockable . The unit is made by Gunn of Grand Rapids.  All refinishing work is done by Charles Upchurch.

Three-Fourths Size Barrister

Dimension: 58 tall, 26 wide, 11 deep.  1200.00.  This size barrister bookcase can be placed in more locations than can one of standard size.  They are more difficult to find, however, especially one of this quality,  These four sections have all three available vertical sizes of Globe barristers.  All backs are original and in good condition.  No new wood is used in restoration and all refinishing is done by Charles Upchurch.

Danner Bookcase

Dimensions: 79 tall, 37 wide, 13 deep.  A favorite bookcase for book collectors, this piece has a number of desirable features.  It is composed of three stackable sections, each section having two doors that move on rubber wheels each direction,  There are two shelves  that are adjustable in each section  thus providing options when size of books is an issue.  All wood including backs are solid oak.  No veneer or plywood is used.  An extra attractive feature is the egg-and-dart trim on the front of the cap.  Additional matching sets are available.  All refinishing work is donr by Charles Upchurch.

Stacking File

Dimensions: 42 tall, 16 wide, 19 deep.  This utilitarian file may be placed almost anywhere and not be out of place.  The three sections can be rearranged in any order and lock together when positioned.  All hardware is original and complete.  The two  file card drawers  are filled with original paper dividers and slides.  The six shallow drawers are meant to hold either letter-size or legal-size papers.  Each drawer has a divider to provide for two stacks of papers.  The large drawer is  for letter-size folders.  All  drawers slide in and out smoothly.  This is a Shaw-Walker file with all refinishing work done by Charles Upchurch.
