Dental Cabinet  

Dimensions:46 wide, 18 deep, 61 tall. 4800.00   This is a most unusual and unique dental cabinet.  It has three tambours each original to the piece.  The two small ones hide glass shelves and the large one in the center covers a number of  small drawers for the assortment of dental instruments. The two doors below open up to large storage compartments.  All hardware is brass and is original and most drawer bottoms are birdseye maple.  Only one bottom is new.  All locks are operational including that for the large tambour which has the original key.  The ends are raised panel and the back is quarter sawn oak as is all exterior wood.  All shelves are new glass and the white sterilizing compartment is newly painted.  All restoration work is by Charles Upchurch.

Display Case

Dimensions: 42 tall, 30 wide, 24 deep.  This industrial quality glass display  case has  good construction features.  All glass is original and of heavy thickness.  The case sits on cast iron claw feet.  The inside is accessible via two doors that move on ball bearings. The surface inside is relined with red fabric.  The space  below the two sliding doors has a number of drawers for storage of stock awaiting display.  All hardware is original  and of good quality.  The original manufacturers label is visible through the glass on top.  Restoration is by Charles Upchurch.

Curio Cabinet

Dimensions: 51 tall, 33 wide, 15 deep.  This curio is in mint original finish.  The two glasses and the mirrored back are original.  The bottom inside is quarter sawn and has a plate groove for platter display.  All three panels of glass are serpentine shaped.  Around the top is  an ogee edge to indicate quality of construction.  Small claw feet and subtle in-wood carving add to the uniqueness of the piece.  It is possibly Horner or at least of Horner quality.
